Pastor Jack’s personal message
The Reverend John (Jack) W. Davies received his Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary and was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1989. He began his ministry at St. Paul’s in 2004. Jack has been active in various community outreach and hospital chaplaincy programs. He has also been a committed participant in the work of the wider United Church of Christ.
His previous pastorates include: St. John’s UCC, St. Johns, PA; First UCC, Palmerton, PA; Trinity Reformed UCC, Bloomsburg, PA/St. John’s UCC, Catawissa (Yolked Parish); and Trinity UCC, Bloomsburg, PA.
Jack and his wife, Connie, have three grown children, John W. II, Tara and Brent and several grandchildren. Pastor Jack’s interests include reading, writing, playing acoustical guitar, shore retreats, Celtic/Christian Spirituality, and genealogical studies.
